very high values overnight (peaked at 5754), should I be worried?

Been using an Aranet4 for a couple of weeks, all fairly normal so far.
A partner came to stay over for a night and the monitor on the bedside table hit 5754 overnight, which is way off the charts compared to usual. I normally keep the window open overnight, and that night I didn't, but that's still way higher than I'd have expected.
Should I be worried? (wondering whether there's something like a broken heater somewhere which is a dangerous source of c02?)

If the room isn't well ventilated (Door closed and window closed) and it is small enough, then those kind of values can happen overnight. Especially if you also have plants in the room as they release CO2 during the night too.

Two people? How many m³ does the room have? What was the value, when you went to bed?

Two people, ~45m³, about 1000 when we went to bed, about 3000 when we went to sleep, then rose slowly to around 5000 by morning.

The device was on the bedside table - I'm wondering if that was just too close to us breathing.

Values and diagram look reasonable to me considering two people.
I use the bathroom breaks for opening the window and have similar dips in the diagram as you.
Top floor rooms with sloping roof have less volume compared to normal rooms with the same floor area and CO2 will hence increase faster ... if this applies to you.
Update:
Last night I had about 1000 ppm CO2 in the room when I went to bed.
7 hours later: 2600 ppm CO2.
1 person, room volume 42 m³, doors and windows closed.
So I'd say, your values are normal, no reason to worry about a technical issue.
